| JEV_API_URL | No | Override the TypeSafe endpoint. Ignored when the OpenRouter key is used. | |
| JEV_BROWSER | No | Run your own browser instead of Playwright's Chromium: chrome, chrome-beta, msedge, or the path to any Chromium-based browser's executable (such as Brave). | |
| JEV_BROWSER_LOG | No | Set to 1 to print per-round decisions to stderr. | |

| JEV_BROWSER_HEADED | No | Set to 1 to show the browser window (headed mode). | |
| OPENROUTER_API_KEY | No | Your OpenRouter API key to use Jev via OpenRouter instead of TypeSafe. Calls are billed to your OpenRouter account. Ignored when TYPESAFE_API_KEY is set. | |

| JEV_BROWSER_NO_INSTALL | No | Set to 1 to turn off the Chromium download on first use. |
