excel-mcp-server-ts

Excel Model Context Protocol (MCP) server — TypeScript version. Lets MCP clients (Claude Desktop, Claude Code, and other MCP-capable hosts) create and manipulate Excel workbooks programmatically: sheets, cell data, formatting, calculations, charts and pivot tables. Built on ExcelJS, no Excel installation required.

Install & build

npm install
npm run build   # tsc -> dist/

Run

npm start       # node dist/cli.js

npm run dev     # ts-node src/cli.ts
