Server Configuration
Describes the environment variables required to run the server.
| Name | Required | Description | Default |
|---|---|---|---|
| HOARDLINK_DIR | Yes | Path to the shared HoardLink checkout, used on PYTHONPATH. Set in the host's app configuration. | |
| FAUSTUS_PYTHON | Yes | The Python interpreter to use for the MCP server. Set in the host's app configuration. | |
| GUTENBERG_PORT | No | Port for the web/loopback listener. The Hub launches on loopback port 5218 in strict mode; for a manual launch the launcher searches for a free port from 5218. GUTENBERG_PORT=0 asks the OS for a free port. | |
| HOARD_LINK_ROOT | No | Path to the HoardLink checkout used during setup (installs HoardLink editable into the dedicated .venv). | |
| GUTENBERG_DESIGNCRAFT_CLI | Yes | Path to the separate DesignCraft CLI executable (e.g. designcraft-cli.exe). The app reads this first, then falls back to the ignored local-config.json. Set in the host's app configuration. |
