Server Configuration
Describes the environment variables required to run the server.

| FCP_MCP_AUTOPUSH | No | Optional setting; set to 1 to automatically push generated FCPXML into a running Final Cut Pro instead of calling deliver.push_to_fcp manually. | |
| FCP_PROJECTS_DIR | Yes | Directory containing Final Cut Pro XML project files, e.g. ~/Movies. Set via the MCP server env in the claude mcp add or .mcp.json configuration. |
