Describes the environment variables required to run the server.

| WHATSAPP_DIAG_DEBUG | No | Set to 1 to enable Baileys' full debug stream in ~/.whatsapp-channel/diag.log. | |
| TRANSCRIPTION_PROVIDER | No | Voice transcription provider (e.g. groq or openai). Legacy environment variable; the plugin configuration UI is now preferred. |
