Eight tools are explicit aliases of one another (list_files/list_contents, move_item/move_resource, delete_item/delete_resource, copy_item/copy_resource, create_folder/create_directory, create_calendar_event/create_event, list_calendar_events/list_events), giving an agent no basis to choose between them. Only the file/share/calendar/contact/account groupings are genuinely distinct.
All tools share a clean nextcloud_verb_noun prefix pattern, which is good. However, the vocabulary is inconsistent for the same concepts — 'item', 'resource', 'file', 'folder', 'directory' are used interchangeably, and 'Alias for X' descriptions advertise the duplication rather than resolving it.
26 tools is heavy for this scope, and roughly a third of them are redundant aliases that add no capability. A well-scoped version would be about 15-17 tools covering the same domain.
Files (list/read/write/move/copy/create/delete) and shares have solid lifecycle coverage, but calendars and contacts are read/create-only with no update or delete for events, contacts, or address books. Users hitting those gaps will dead-end.
