Server Configuration
Describes the environment variables required to run the server.

| JOBNIAC_HTTP_PORT | No | Port for the loopback HTTP MCP server (1024 to 65535). Used with `jobniac-cli http` only. | |
| JOBNIAC_DB_PASSWORD | Yes | Database role password. | |
| JOBNIAC_GENERATED_ROOT | No | Folder for generated PDFs. Defaults to %LOCALAPPDATA%\Jobniac\generated. Set it only to choose another folder. | |
| JOBNIAC_DELETION_ENABLED | No | Allows deleting profiles and jobs. Off by default; enabled only when the value is exactly `1`. | |
| JOBNIAC_ARBEITNOW_ENABLED | No | Allows scanning and importing Arbeitnow jobs. Off by default; enabled only when the value is exactly `1`. Also needs JOBNIAC_ARBEITNOW_CANDIDATE_KEY and a cursor secret. | |
| JOBNIAC_GENERATED_ENABLED | No | Allows PDF generation and cleanup. Off by default; enabled only when the value is exactly `1`. Run `jobniac-cli setup-generated-root` once first. | |
| JOBNIAC_HTTP_BEARER_TOKEN | No | Bearer token for the loopback HTTP MCP server: 43 to 128 characters, using A-Z a-z 0-9 - _. | |
| JOBNIAC_CURSOR_HMAC_SECRET | No | Keeps paging cursors valid across restarts. 32 characters or more. Defaults to a random value per process. | |
| JOBNIAC_LINK_FETCH_ENABLED | No | Allows adding a job from a web link (fetches the page). Off by default; enabled only when the value is exactly `1`. | |
| JOBNIAC_DOCUMENT_IMPORT_ROOT | No | Absolute folder that PDFs can be imported from. | |
| JOBNIAC_ARBEITNOW_CANDIDATE_KEY | No | Signing key for Arbeitnow candidate tokens (required when JOBNIAC_ARBEITNOW_ENABLED is 1). | |
| JOBNIAC_DOCUMENT_ARTIFACTS_ENABLED | No | Allows document artifacts and export. Off by default; enabled only when the value is exactly `1`. |
