A double-click takes a Windows box from "nothing installed" to "service running" in under
5 minutes — portable Node.js, NSSM and `cloudflared` are bundled.

Releases are not code-signed yet, so verify before running: the SHA-256 is published on the
release page, and every build carries signed provenance you can check with
`gh attestation verify <file> -R JINA-CODE-SYSTEMS/tally-mcp-server`. See

for details.

## Quick start (from source)

```bash
git clone https://github.com/JINA-CODE-SYSTEMS/tally-mcp-server.git
cd tally-mcp-server
npm install && npx tsc
```

For a production Windows deployment use the **[installer](docs/installer.md)** — it takes a box from "nothing installed" to "service running" in under 5 minutes (bundles portable Node.js, NSSM, and `cloudflared`). Everything else — configuration, tools, editions, connecting a client — is in the **[full docs](docs/README.md)**.
