Server Configuration

Describes the environment variables required to run the server.

ZE_API_TOKENNoIf set, required as Authorization: Bearer … on REST and MCP. Default: empty.
ZE_MEDIA_ROOTNoLocal files callers may reference; nothing outside it. Default: empty (off).
ZE_PUBLIC_URLNoBase URL for file links in MCP results. Default: request host.
ZE_PARALLEL_SIZESNoSocial sizes rendered at once within a job. Default: 3 with NVENC, else 1.
ZE_RETENTION_DAYSNoFinished jobs are deleted after this many days; projects stay. Default: 14.
ZE_MAX_DOWNLOAD_GBNoCap on downloads from video_url. Default: 8.
