Server Configuration

Describes the environment variables required to run the server.

NameRequiredDescriptionDefault
TP_AUTH_COOKIENoYour TrainingPeaks `Production_tpAuth` cookie value, obtained from the browser DevTools (Application tab -> Cookies). Optional: it is a supported, first-class auth method recommended for headless servers, containers, and CI where the keyring and encrypted-file backends don't work. It is always checked first, before the system keyring and the encrypted file, so setting it overrides any stored credential. On desktop setups, browser auto-extraction or manual cookie entry (which store the cookie in the system keyring) remains the recommended default. Treat this value like a password.
