Server Configuration
Describes the environment variables required to run the server.

| URL | No | The URL of the Anki MCP server. Default is http://127.0.0.1:8766/mcp. For HTTP connections, this is required. For the stdio bridge, pass via --url if the port is changed. | |
| TOKEN_FILE | No | Path to the file containing the authentication token, passed to the stdio bridge via --token-file. Alternative to ANKI_MCP_TOKEN. | |
| ANKI_MCP_TOKEN | No | The authentication token for the Anki MCP server. Can be provided as the ANKI_MCP_TOKEN environment variable for the stdio bridge, or as the Bearer token in the Authorization header for HTTP connections. |
