Server Configuration

Describes the environment variables required to run the server.

NameRequiredDescriptionDefault
PARE_TOOLSNoUniversal filter that restricts which tools are registered across all Pare servers. Format is a comma-separated list of `server:tool` entries, e.g. `git:status, git:log, npm:install`. Takes precedence over per-server variables. Whitespace around commas is ignored. If not set, all tools are enabled by default.
PARE_{SERVER}_TOOLSNoPer-server filter that restricts a single server's tools. Server names use uppercase with hyphens replaced by underscores (e.g., `PARE_GIT_TOOLS`, `PARE_MY_SERVER_TOOLS`). Format is a comma-separated list of tool names, e.g. `status, log, diff`. Set to an empty string to disable all tools for that server. If not set, all tools are enabled by default.
