Server Configuration
Describes the environment variables required to run the server.

| OPENLANE_API_TOKEN | Yes | Openlane API token or PAT. Organization tokens start with `tola_`. Personal access tokens start with `tolp_`. | |
| OPENLANE_ALLOW_WRITE | No | Enable write tools. Equivalent to --allow-write. | |
| OPENLANE_ALLOW_DELETE | No | Enable delete tools. Equivalent to --allow-delete. | |
| OPENLANE_MCP_HTTP_ADDR | No | HTTP bind address. Default is 127.0.0.1:8090. Loopback only by default. | |
| OPENLANE_MCP_TRANSPORT | No | Transport to use. Default is stdio. Set to http for Streamable HTTP. | |
| OPENLANE_ORGANIZATION_ID | No | Optional for multi-org PATs. | |
| OPENLANE_MCP_HTTP_MAX_BODY_BYTES | No | Maximum HTTP body size. Increase when uploading large evidence files over HTTP. |
