SwissRegister gives Claude and other MCP-compatible AI assistants structured access to 800K+ Swiss businesses — enriched with people signals, FINMA/SRO regulatory data, building permits (Baugesuche), procurement tenders, and trade specialist profiles sourced from the official commercial register (Zefix/Handelsregister).

## Tools

| Tool | Description |

| `search_companies` | Search by company name, keyword, or CHE UID. Returns names, locations, sector, and signal counts. |
| `get_company` | Full intelligence profile for a single company by CHE UID — AI summary, people, regulatory status, permits, procurement. |
| `get_specialists` | Find trade contractors (Dachdecker, Elektriker, Maler, etc.) by trade and canton. |
| `get_permits` | Recent building permit applications (Baugesuche) by canton and optional trade filter. |
| `search_tenders` | Swiss public procurement tenders (Simap/SOGC) — filter by keyword, canton, status, or awarded company. |
