Server Configuration
Describes the environment variables required to run the server.
| Name | Required | Description | Default |
|---|---|---|---|
| PARE_TOOLS | No | Universal tool filter applied across all servers. Comma-separated list in the format `server:tool,...` (e.g. `git:status, npm:install`). When set, this takes precedence over per-server vars. No env var = all tools enabled by default. | |
| MCP_TIMEOUT | No | MCP connection timeout in milliseconds (e.g. `30000` for Claude Code), useful if the server experiences connection timeouts. | |
| PARE_GIT_TOOLS | No | Per-server tool filter (pattern `PARE_{SERVER}_TOOLS` with uppercase server names and hyphens replaced by underscores). Comma-separated list of tool names to register for a single server (e.g. `status, log, diff`). An empty string disables all tools for that server. Example shown is for the git server. |
Instructions
Guidance the server publishes about itself, which clients place ahead of the tool catalog so the model reads it before choosing anything.
This server publishes no instructions, or was last inspected before Glama recorded them.
