fal.ai MCP Server

MCP server for interacting with the fal.ai API — run AI models, submit jobs, and manage media generation workflows from Claude or any MCP-compatible client.

Setup

python3 -m venv venv
source venv/bin/activate
pip install -r requirements.txt

Create a .env file with your API key (get one at fal.ai/dashboard/keys):

FAL_API_KEY=your-api-key-here

Running

python fal_mcp.py

# HTTP transport

Typical Workflow

list_applications (search: "image")
  → submit_job (application_id, input_data)
  → poll_job_status (request_id) [repeat until COMPLETED]
  → get_job_result (request_id)
