MCP REST API Tester

Describes the environment variables required to run the server.

Name	Required	Description	Default
`HEADER_*`	No	Custom global headers via HEADER_* environment variables (case-insensitive prefix, e.g. HEADER_X-API-Version, HEADER_Accept). Header names preserve case and are applied with priority per-request > auth > custom.
`AUTH_BEARER`	No	Bearer token for Bearer Token Authentication (if Basic Auth is not configured).
`REST_BASE_URL`	No	The base URL of the REST API to test, e.g. https://api.example.com
`AUTH_APIKEY_VALUE`	No	Header value for API Key Authentication (if neither Basic Auth nor Bearer Token is configured).
`AUTH_BASIC_PASSWORD`	No	Password for Basic Authentication. Only configure one authentication method at a time.
`AUTH_BASIC_USERNAME`	No	Username for Basic Authentication. Only configure one authentication method at a time.
`REST_ENABLE_SSL_VERIFY`	No	Enable or disable SSL certificate verification (enabled by default). Set to false to disable SSL verification for self-signed certificates.	true
`AUTH_APIKEY_HEADER_NAME`	No	Header name for API Key Authentication, e.g. X-API-Key (if neither Basic Auth nor Bearer Token is configured).
`REST_RESPONSE_SIZE_LIMIT`	No	Maximum response size in bytes. Defaults to 10000 bytes. Responses exceeding this limit are truncated with metadata.	10000
