Read the text of a Canvas file so you can summarize it, quiz from it or answer questions about it. Read-only. Works with PDF, Word (.docx), PowerPoint (.pptx, including speaker notes), web pages and plain-text files up to 25 MB. Long files come back in parts: call again with next_offset. Scanned PDFs have no text. Get file_id from list_course_files or list_module_items.
