Describes the environment variables required to run the server.

Name	Required	Description	Default
`LOG_LEVEL`	No	Structured logging level (debug, info, warn, error). Set to 'info' or higher for production.	debug
`OPENFGA_MODE`	No	Authorization mode: 'bypass' (default, no authz checks) or 'restrict' (OpenFGA enforcement).	bypass
`GATE_EVALUATORS`	No	Comma-separated list of gate evaluators (e.g., 'goja').
`CREDENTIAL_STORE`	No	Credential store implementation name (e.g., 'embedded').
`OPENFGA_STORE_ID`	No	OpenFGA store ID (required when OPENFGA_MODE=restrict).
`TOOLMESH_API_KEY`	No	API key for programmatic access. Alternative to TOOLMESH_AUTH_PASSWORD for single-key setups.
`TOOLMESH_AUTH_PLAN`	No	Identity plan when using TOOLMESH_AUTH_PASSWORD or TOOLMESH_API_KEY fallback.	pro
`TOOLMESH_AUTH_USER`	No	Identity username when using TOOLMESH_AUTH_PASSWORD or TOOLMESH_API_KEY fallback.	owner
`TOOLMESH_AUTH_ROLES`	No	Identity roles when using TOOLMESH_AUTH_PASSWORD or TOOLMESH_API_KEY fallback.	admin
`TOOLMESH_MCP_TIMEOUT`	No	HTTP client timeout in seconds for calls to downstream MCP servers.	120
`TOOLMESH_EXEC_TIMEOUT`	No	Tool execution timeout in seconds (context deadline for backend calls).	120
`TOOLMESH_AUTH_PASSWORD`	No	Password for single-user authentication. Without it, all requests are rejected unless TOOLMESH_API_KEY is set or users/API keys are configured via YAML files.
