Storeshot MCP Server
Officialby Draggable
Server Configuration
Describes the environment variables required to run the server.
| Name | Required | Description | Default |
|---|---|---|---|
| XDG_CONFIG_HOME | No | Where `storeshot/mcp-credentials.json` lives. | ~/.config |
| STORESHOT_API_KEY | No | Use this key (never stored); its prefix (ss_test_… or ss_live_…) decides the environment. It always wins over a stored key. Optional: without it, the first tool call that needs a key returns a link and code (ACCOUNT_LINK_REQUIRED) to link the account. | |
| STORESHOT_BASE_URL | No | The API address (with or without `/v1`); https only. | https://api.storeshot.art/v1 |
| STORESHOT_MCP_ROOT | No | An absolute folder: every local read and write must be inside it. When set, relative tool paths are resolved against it. | |
| STORESHOT_MCP_DEBUG | No | `1`: stack traces of unexpected errors on stderr (never in results). | |
| STORESHOT_ENVIRONMENT | No | `test` or `live`: the environment of a linked key. Choose it before the server links your account. When unset the server asks for no environment and Storeshot's default applies (a live key today). Ignored when STORESHOT_API_KEY is set, the key decides. | |
| STORESHOT_MCP_NO_STORE | No | `1`: never read or write the credentials file, keeping the key in memory only. |
