Server Configuration
Describes the environment variables required to run the server.

| DESIGNLIB_PORT | No | Set the gallery port when port 8000 is used by another program, e.g. DESIGNLIB_PORT=8001. Add this environment variable to the Claude desktop config entry as well if needed. | |
| DESIGNLIB_SEMANTIC | No | Set to 0 to turn off semantic search without uninstalling it. By default semantic search is enabled when the semantic dependencies are installed. | |
| DESIGNLIB_GALLERY_WITH_MCP | No | Set to 0 to disable the MCP server from serving the gallery in the background. By default the gallery is served with the MCP server when port 8000 is free. |
