Server Configuration

Describes the environment variables required to run the server.

NameRequiredDescriptionDefault
API_KEYNoAPI key for the backend, if one has been set (API_KEY on the backend); a keyless local instance needs no key. Used for server/CLI/MCP access (the MCP client may instead pass it as an Authorization: Bearer header).
API_BASENoBase URL of the running Velocity backend that provides the warm live feeds (e.g. http://localhost:8000). The MCP server queries this instance.
OLLAMA_HOSTNoHost of the optional local Ollama instance used by the deep_analyze reasoning model; analysis degrades to raw intel JSON if Ollama is absent.
OLLAMA_MODELNoOllama model to use for deep_analyze; empty picks the smallest installed model.
