Server Configuration
Describes the environment variables required to run the server.

| GTM_QUOTA_STATE_FILE | No | Path to the quota state JSON file. Defaults to ~/.config/gtm-mcp/quota-state.json. | |
| GTM_DEBUG_LOG_ENABLED | No | Enable SQLite debug logging. | |
| GTM_QUOTA_MAX_RETRIES | No | Maximum number of retries for quota errors. Defaults to 3. | |
| GTM_DAILY_REQUEST_BUDGET | No | Persistent daily request budget. Defaults to 9000. | |
| GTM_DEBUG_RETENTION_DAYS | No | Number of days to retain debug log rows. Defaults to 30. | |
| GTM_OAUTH_CLIENT_SECRETS | No | Absolute path to the OAuth client secrets JSON file. Needed for initial user authorization or if the saved grant is removed or revoked. | |
| GTM_SERVICE_ACCOUNT_FILE | No | Absolute path to the service account JSON file. Used for service-account authentication. | |
| GTM_SERVICE_ACCOUNT_JSON | No | Service account JSON content as a string. Used for service-account authentication when injecting secrets via environment. | |
| GTM_QUOTA_BACKOFF_SECONDS | No | Base backoff seconds for quota retries. Defaults to exponential backoff with jitter. | |
| GTM_DEBUG_MAX_PAYLOAD_BYTES | No | Maximum bytes per payload field in debug log. Defaults to 262144 (256 KiB). | |
| GOOGLE_APPLICATION_CREDENTIALS | No | Absolute path to a Google Cloud service account JSON file. Used for Application Default Credentials. | |
| GTM_MIN_REQUEST_INTERVAL_SECONDS | No | Minimum seconds between GTM API requests. Defaults to 4.1. |
