## Ready for Production Use
### For Claude Desktop Users:
1. Run `termcp server` in a terminal
2. Add config to `~/.config/Claude/claude_desktop_config.json`
3. Restart Claude Desktop
4. Test: "List files in my home directory using termpipe"
### For iFlow CLI Users:
1. Run `termcp server` in a terminal
2. Config already in `~/.iflow/settings.json` (update path if needed)
3. iFlow CLI will auto-connect
### For Gemini CLI Users:
1. Run `termcp server` in a terminal
2. Add config to `~/.gemini/settings.json`
3. Gemini CLI will auto-connect
### Optional: Systemd Service
Create `~/.config/systemd/user/termpipe-mcp.service` for auto-start
## Next Actions
### To Update iFlow CLI Config:
```bash
# Edit ~/.iflow/settings.json and update the termpipe entry:
"termpipe": {
"description": "TermPipe MCP - Terminal automation and file operations",
"command": "/home/craig/.local/share/pipx/venvs/termpipe-mcp/bin/python",
"args": ["-m", "termpipe_mcp.server"],
"env": {
"TERMCP_URL": "http://localhost:8421"
}
}
```
### To Update Gemini CLI Config:
```bash
# Edit ~/.gemini/settings.json and add to mcpServers:
"termpipe": {
"command": "/home/craig/.local/share/pipx/venvs/termpipe-mcp/bin/python",
"args": ["-m", "termpipe_mcp.server"],
"env": {
"TERMCP_URL": "http://localhost:8421"
}
}
```
### To Start Using:
```bash
# Terminal 1: Start the backend
termcp server
# Terminal 2: Use your MCP client (Claude Desktop, iFlow CLI, or Gemini CLI)
# The MCP server auto-starts when the client connects
```
