## Test Execution Plan
### Step 1: Run All Prerequisites
```bash
# Set API key
export ANTHROPIC_API_KEY="your-token"
# Run all prerequisite tests
npm run test:all-prerequisites
```
This will run all 8 test suites sequentially and stop on first failure.
### Step 2: Individual Test Verification
If needed, run tests individually:
```bash
# Browser prerequisites
npm run test:browser-prerequisites
# Isolated primitives
npm run test:isolated-primitives
# MCP tool configuration
npm run test:mcp-tools
# Backend playbooks
npm run test:backend-playbooks
# Conversation management
npm run test:conversations
# CLAUDE.md configuration
npm run test:claude-md
# Claude tools execution
npm run test:claude-tools
# Backend E2E
npm run test:backend-e2e
```
### Step 3: Browser Connection Test
```bash
# Test browser connection
npm run test:browser-connection
```
This will:
- Start the server
- Connect WebSocket programmatically
- Run tool calls
- Verify messages received
- Keep server running for manual testing
### Step 4: Visual Verification
1. Start server: `node server-mcp.js`
2. Open browser: `http://localhost:3000`
3. Run Claude CLI:
```bash
claude --print --mcp-config ./claude_config.json --dangerously-skip-permissions "Use mcp__imagine__update_ui to create a header with text 'Hello World'"
```
4. Verify UI updates appear in browser
## Design Review Summary

- ✅ Correct separation of concerns
- ✅ Proper communication channels (MCP stdio, WebSocket)
- ✅ Isolated components
- ✅ Scalable design
### Components ✅
- ✅ Backend instances (permanent, configurable)
- ✅ MCP server relay (bridge between CLI and browser)
- ✅ Browser frontend (UI updates and logs)
- ✅ Configuration (all files generated)
### Security ✅
- ✅ Server binds to localhost only
- ✅ WebSocket connections restricted
- ✅ Sandboxed test environment
- ✅ Isolated instances
### Functionality ✅
- ✅ Tool execution works
- ✅ Message flow works
- ✅ Configuration works
- ✅ Backend instances work
## What Needs Testing
### Before Integration Test

- Run `npm run test:all-prerequisites`
- Verify all tests pass
- Fix any failures
2. **Server Startup** ⚠️
- Verify server starts correctly
- Check port 3000 is available
- Verify WebSocket server starts
3. **Browser Connection** ⚠️
- Run `npm run test:browser-connection`
- Verify WebSocket connects
- Verify messages received
4. **Visual Verification** ⚠️
- Open browser to http://localhost:3000
