I built an MCP server that lets AI assistants like Claude print documents directly from conversations.
## What is it?
MCP Printer is a Model Context Protocol server that connects to your system printers via CUPS (macOS/Linux). It gives AI assistants the ability to print files, manage print queues, and control printers.
## Why?
When working with AI on complex projects, I found myself constantly generating documentation, specs, and code that I wanted to review offline on paper. Instead of manually exporting and printing everything, I wanted to just ask the AI: "Print all the markdown files you just created" or "Print the README with syntax highlighting."

## Tips for Announcing
1. **Timing:** Post on weekday mornings (9-11 AM in your timezone) for best visibility
2. **Engagement:** Respond to comments and questions promptly
