# Sample Media Directory This directory is where you can place sample media files for testing the video editor. ## Supported File Types ### Video Files - `.mp4` - Most common video format - `.mov` - Apple QuickTime format - `.avi` - Audio Video Interleave format ### Audio Files - `.mp3` - MPEG Audio Layer III - `.wav` - Waveform Audio File Format - `.aac` - Advanced Audio Coding ### Image Files - `.jpg/.jpeg` - Joint Photographic Experts Group - `.png` - Portable Network Graphics - `.gif` - Graphics Interchange Format ## Usage 1. Copy your test media files to this directory 2. Use the upload feature in the editor demo to add them to your project 3. Drag and drop files from the media library to the timeline tracks ## Note The editor automatically extracts metadata (duration, resolution, etc.) and generates thumbnails for video files.
