## Quick Start
### Understanding the Current System
1. Start with [QUICK_REFERENCE.md](./QUICK_REFERENCE.md) for a quick overview
2. Read [CURRENT_ARCHITECTURE.md](./CURRENT_ARCHITECTURE.md) for detailed technical information
3. Reference [QUICK_REFERENCE.md](./QUICK_REFERENCE.md) for daily lookups
### Planning the Modular Implementation
1. Read [MODULAR_PLAN.md](./MODULAR_PLAN.md) for the architecture and timeline
2. Review [MODULAR_USAGE.md](./MODULAR_USAGE.md) to understand how it will work
3. Study [TESTING_STRATEGY.md](./TESTING_STRATEGY.md) for testing approach
### Implementing the Modular System
1. Follow phases in [MODULAR_PLAN.md](./MODULAR_PLAN.md)
2. Reference [MODULAR_USAGE.md](./MODULAR_USAGE.md) for API and examples
3. Use [TESTING_STRATEGY.md](./TESTING_STRATEGY.md) to write tests
## Key Benefits of Modular Architecture
| Use Case | Bundle Size Reduction | Shells Included |
|----------|----------------------|-----------------|
| Windows (All) | ~40% | PowerShell, CMD, Git Bash |
| Git Bash Only | ~60% | Git Bash |
| CMD Only | ~65% | CMD |
| Unix/Linux | ~60% | Bash |
| Full (Default) | - | All shells |
**Additional Benefits**:
- 20-30% faster startup for single-shell builds
- Clearer code organization
- Easier testing and maintenance
- Better type safety

## Size Comparison
**Before Consolidation**: 12 files, ~200KB total
- Many duplicated sections
- Difficult to navigate
- Information scattered across files
**After Consolidation**: 5 files, ~78KB total
- **60% reduction** in file count
- **60% reduction** in total size
- Clear organization
- Minimal duplication
## Change History
### 2025-11-10: Major Consolidation
