# Markdown Parser Implementation Progress
This document tracks the implementation progress of the Quantalogic Markdown Parser based on the specification in `01-implementation.md`.

## Implementation Notes
- **Parser Backend**: Using markdown-it-py only (as per design decision)
- **Python Version**: Minimum Python 3.11
- **Key Dependencies**:
- `markdown-it-py>=3.0.0` for parsing
- `mdit-py-plugins>=0.4.0` for plugin support
- **Development Tools**: pytest, black, ruff, mypy for quality assurance
## Current Status
