- Price types (Price, PriceUpdate, PriceBatch)
- Transaction types (Transaction, TransactionStatus, WalletUpdate)
- Notification types (Notification, AlertRule, NotificationType)
- Configuration types
## Type Safety Fixes Applied
### 1. Validation Middleware Payload
- Fixed `in` operator usage with proper type casting
- Cast to `Record<string, unknown>` for safe property access
### 2. Heartbeat Global Stats
- Added missing `totalMissedPongs` and `totalDisconnections` fields
- Removed obsolete `totalTimeouts` field
- Fixed return type annotation to avoid `typeof this.globalStats`
### 3. WebSocket Type Compatibility
- Resolved conflict between browser `WebSocket` and `ws` library `WebSocket`
- Used type alias: `import { WebSocket as WSWebSocket } from 'ws'`
- Updated `Connection` interface to accept both types: `WSWebSocket | WebSocket`
- Updated all server methods to accept union type
### 4. State Sync Null Checks
- Added null check before deleting oldest queue key
- Prevents `undefined` from being passed to `delete()`
### 5. Notification Manager Null Checks
- Added null check for `AlertRule['conditions']`
- Added null coalescing for `rule.message`
### 6. Client Error Handling
- Used optional chaining for error message extraction: `response.error?.message`
- Proper fallback to generic error message
### 7. Price Update Type Conversion
- Fixed `PriceUpdate` to `Price` conversion in hooks
- Used `update.price` which is already a `Price` object

## Usage Example
### Server-Side Setup
```typescript
import { createWebSocketServer } from '@/lib/websocket';
const server = createWebSocketServer({
port: 8080,
path: '/ws',
heartbeatInterval: 30000,
enableLogging: true,
});
await server.start();
```
### Client-Side Setup
```typescript
import { useWebSocket, usePriceSubscription } from '@/lib/websocket';
function TradingDashboard() {
const { connected, error } = useWebSocket('ws://localhost:8080/ws');
const { prices, loading } = usePriceSubscription({
symbols: ['BTC-USD', 'ETH-USD'],
enabled: connected,
});
return (
<div>
{prices.get('BTC-USD')?.price}
</div>
);
}
```
