# MCP Configuration Fixes Applied
## ✅ All Issues Fixed
### Fix 1: Workspace Path
- **Before:** Hardcoded `C:\AIStack`
- **After:** `${workspaceFolder}` (dynamic)
- **Status:** ✅ Fixed
### Fix 2: Python Command
- **Before:** `C:\AIStack-MCP\.venv\Scripts\python.exe` (venv-specific)
- **After:** `python` (uses system Python in PATH)
- **Status:** ✅ Fixed
### Fix 3: Transport
- **Before:** `mcp.run()` (default)
- **After:** `mcp.run(transport="stdio")` (explicit)
- **Status:** ✅ Already fixed
### Fix 4: GitHub Token
- **Before:** `${GITHUB_TOKEN}` placeholder
- **After:** Actual token for local use
- **Status:** ✅ Fixed (token in local config only)
### Fix 5: Config Locations
- **Copied to:**
1. `%APPDATA%\Cursor\User\globalStorage\saoudrizwan.claude-dev\settings\mcp_settings.json`
2. `%APPDATA%\Cursor\User\mcp_settings.json`
- **Status:** ✅ Both locations updated
### Fix 6: Dependencies
- FastMCP: ✅ Installed
- langchain-ollama: ✅ Installed
- qdrant-client: ✅ Installed
- **Status:** ✅ All verified
### Fix 7: Server Startup
- **Test:** Server starts successfully
- **Status:** ✅ Working
## 📋 Current Configuration
```json
{
"code-intelligence": {
"command": "python",
"args": [
"C:\\AIStack-MCP\\mcp_intelligence_server.py",
"--workspace",
"${workspaceFolder}"
],
"env": {
"OLLAMA_URL": "http://localhost:11434",
"QDRANT_URL": "http://localhost:6333"
}
}
}
```
## 🚀 Next Steps
1. **Restart Cursor completely**
- Close all Cursor windows
- Restart Cursor
2. **Open your project**
```powershell
cd C:\AIStack
cursor .
```
3. **Verify MCP servers are running**
```powershell
Get-WmiObject Win32_Process | Where-Object { $_.CommandLine -like "*mcp_intelligence*" }
```
Should show a Python process running the server.
4. **Test in Cursor chat**
```
Use code-intelligence to semantic_search for 'test'
```
## 🔍 If Still Not Working
1. **Check Cursor Developer Console**
- Help > Toggle Developer Tools > Console
- Look for MCP errors
2. **Verify Python is in PATH**
```powershell
python --version
```
3. **Check if server process appears**
```powershell
Get-Process | Where-Object { $_.CommandLine -like "*mcp_intelligence*" }
```
4. **Verify config is loaded**
- Check both config file locations exist
- Verify JSON is valid
## ✅ Expected Behavior
After restart:
- Cursor spawns MCP server processes automatically
- You can use MCP tools in chat
- GPU usage when tools call Ollama
- Semantic search works across any workspace
