# Contributing to mcp-ripgrep We welcome contributions to mcp-ripgrep! This document outlines the steps to get started with development and how to contribute to the project. Feel free to use an AI assistant to help you with developing this tool. ## Prerequisites - Node.js (v18 or higher) - ripgrep (`rg`) command installed and available in your PATH. Install it with `brew install ripgrep` on macOS. - TypeScript (for development) ## Installation 1. Clone this repository: ``` git clone https://github.com/mcollina/mcp-ripgrep.git cd mcp-ripgrep ``` 2.
