## Risk Mitigation
| Risk | Mitigation |
| ---------------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------- |
| WebSocket scaling bottleneck | Use Redis for pub/sub if needed |
| Large graph rendering slow | Implement virtualization & WebGL fallback |
| Database query performance | Add caching layer (Redis) + query optimization |
| Complex permission logic | Start simple, iterate with real usage |
| MCP connection fragility | Exponential backoff + health monitoring |
| UI complexity | Ship MVP first (dashboard only), add features incrementally |
---
## Phase Dependencies
```
Phase 14 (Backend) ┐
├→ Phase 15 (UI)
└─→ Phase 16 (Graphs)
└─→ Phase 17 (Polish)
```
Each phase is standalone after Phase 14 completes. Frontend and backend can be developed in parallel after Week 4.
---
## Integration Points with Kiwi MCP
Mission Control integrates with:
1. **KiwiProxy** → Respects permission system
2. **Session Tracking** → Uses existing thread IDs
3. **Audit Logging** → Reads permission events
4. **Tool Registry** → Shows available tools
5. **DB Schema** → Reads directives, scripts, knowledge
No changes needed to core Kiwi MCP. Mission Control is a sidecar observability service.

## Questions & TODOs
### Architecture
- [ ] Should Mission Control be embedded in Kiwi MCP core, or stay separate?
- [ ] Do we need distributed tracing (OpenTelemetry)?
- [ ] Multi-tenancy required from day 1?
### Frontend
- [ ] Should we build iOS/Android apps later?
- [ ] Need offline-first capabilities?
- [ ] Support collaborative debugging UI?
### Deployment
- [ ] SLA target (99.9% or 99.99%)?
- [ ] Backup strategy (daily, hourly)?
- [ ] Data retention policy (30 days, 1 year)?
