# Anaplan MCP — API Coverage Roadmap
## Current Coverage (Phase 1 — Done)
**Integration API v2** (`https://api.anaplan.com/2/0/`) — 27 tools, ~31 endpoints
- Exploration: workspaces, models, modules, line items, views, lists, imports, exports, processes, files, actions, view details
- Bulk: run imports/exports/processes/deletes, upload/download files, poll task status
- Transactional: read/write cells, add/update/delete list items
**Authentication** (`https://auth.anaplan.com/token/`)
- Basic auth, Certificate auth, OAuth 2.0 (device grant)
- Token caching + auto-refresh
**Quality of Life (Done)**
- Name-to-ID resolver with in-memory cache (5-minute TTL)
- Pagination & search on all list tools
- Accept: application/json header globally
- JSON format (format=v1) for read_cells
- File chunk download (actual data, not metadata)

## Phase 2: Complete Integration API v2 Coverage (NEXT)
**Goal:** Cover all remaining endpoints from the [Apiary docs](https://anaplan.docs.apiary.io/).
**Plan:** See `docs/plans/2026-02-07-integration-api-v2-complete.md`
**Estimated:** ~31 new tools, ~40 new endpoints → ~58 tools total
### Missing endpoint groups:
1. **Workspace & Model Metadata** — single workspace detail, cross-workspace model list, model status
2. **Model Management** — close/open/bulk-delete models
3. **Line Items & Dimensions** — cross-module line items, dimension items (model/view/line-item level), lookup by name/code
4. **Cross-Module Views** — all views in model, transactional-path module/view/lineitem endpoints
5. **List & Action Metadata** — list metadata (properties, parent), import/export/process/action definition details, delete files
6. **Calendar & Versions** — current period, fiscal year, version metadata, switchover dates
7. **Users** — current user, user list, user details
8. **Import Dumps & Large Volume Reads** — dump files for failed imports, large read requests (>1M cells)
