# Troubleshooting Guide This guide covers common issues and their solutions when working with the Attio MCP Server. ## Installation Issues ### API Key Problems **Problem**: Authentication failed or invalid API key error **Solution**: 1. Verify your API key in [Attio API Explorer](https://developers.attio.com/reference/get_v2-objects) 2. Check environment variable: `echo $ATTIO_API_KEY` 3. Check workspace access permissions 3.
