# MCP QR Code Server Implementation Status Report
## Overview
This document outlines the status of the recent MCP QR Code server implementation, focusing on the resource-based URI support feature. It details issues encountered, troubleshooting steps, validation procedures, and testing outcomes.
## Implementation Summary
We successfully implemented resource-based URI support for QR code generation in the MCP server. This feature allows clients to:
1. List available QR code templates/resources via `resources/list`
2. Generate QR codes from template URIs via `resources/get`
3. Use predefined templates for common QR code types (WiFi, contacts, URLs)
4. Create custom QR codes with various parameters
## Issues Encountered & Solutions
### MCP Protocol Compliance
**Issue**: Initial implementation wasn't fully compliant with MCP resource protocol.
**Solution**:
- Fixed response format to use `contents` array with proper `uri` and `blob` fields
- Corrected resource capability declaration in server registration

## Future Improvements
