# Installer Summary
This document summarizes the comprehensive installer system created for MCP-FreeCAD integration.
## Created Files
### 1. `install.py` - Main Python Installer
**Purpose:** Cross-platform Python-based installer
**Features:**
- Auto-detects operating system and FreeCAD location
- Installs FreeCAD addon to correct user directory
- Installs MCP server Python dependencies
- Configures VS Code MCP settings
- Runs verification tests
- Comprehensive error handling
**Usage:**

```
### 2. `install.sh` - Linux/macOS Shell Script
**Purpose:** User-friendly shell wrapper for install.py
**Features:**

**Usage:**

## Error Messages & Recovery
### Python Not Found
- **Solution:** Install Python 3.8+ from python.org

### FreeCAD Not Found

- **Recovery:** Launch FreeCAD once, then re-run installer
### Permission Denied
- **Solution (Linux/macOS):** Run with sudo

### VS Code Not Found
