# Community Plugin Submission Guide
This document provides step-by-step instructions for submitting the Claude Code Editor & MCP plugin to the Obsidian Community Plugin Directory.

## Submission Process
### 1. Prepare Repository
- [x] Repository is public: `https://github.com/iansinnott/obsidian-claude-code-mcp`
- [x] All required files are present and valid
- [x] Latest release is created with proper artifacts
- [x] Documentation is comprehensive and user-friendly
### 2. Create Release
Before submitting, ensure you have a proper GitHub release:

# Build the plugin

# Create GitHub release with tag v1.1.3
# Upload these files as binary attachments:
# - manifest.json
# - main.js
# - styles.css
```
### 3. Fork obsidian-releases Repository
1. Go to https://github.com/obsidianmd/obsidian-releases
2. Click "Fork" to create your own copy
3. Clone your fork locally
### 4. Add Plugin Entry
1. Open `community-plugins.json` in your fork
2. Add the plugin entry to the **end** of the JSON array:

3. Validate JSON syntax:

### 5. Submit Pull Request
1. Create a new branch: `git checkout -b add-claude-code-mcp`
2. Commit changes: `git commit -m "Add Claude Code Editor & MCP plugin"`
3. Push to your fork: `git push origin add-claude-code-mcp`
4. Open pull request on the main obsidian-releases repository
