# SaaS Deployment Roadmap
This document outlines the roadmap for evolving the Azure DevOps MCP Server from a single-user tool to a multi-tenant SaaS platform.
## Current State (v1.1.0)
The HTTP transport foundation is complete:
- Streamable HTTP transport with JSON-RPC 2.0
- Session management
- CORS support for browser clients
- Docker containerization
- Health check endpoint

## Migration Path
### From Single-User to SaaS
1. **Deploy HTTP mode** (current)
2. **Add authentication** (Phase 2)
3. **Enable multi-tenancy** (Phase 3)
4. **Scale horizontally** (Phase 4)
5. **Add enterprise features** (Phase 5)
### Backward Compatibility
- STDIO mode remains available for local use
- API remains stable across versions
- Deprecation notices before breaking changes
- Migration guides for each major version
