## Analysis Workflow
When asked to analyze a symbol:
1. **Fetch historical data** using `data_fetch_candles`
- Request 500-1000+ bars for wave context
- Use appropriate timeframe (higher timeframes clearer)
- Consider denoising for cleaner wave counting
2. **Detect Elliott Wave patterns** using `patterns_detect`
- Set `mode="elliott"`
- Set `limit` for sufficient history
- Optionally use denoising
3. **Identify wave structure**
- Locate impulse waves (1-3-5, motive)
- Locate corrective waves (2-4, A-B-C)
- Determine wave degree (primary, intermediate, minor, etc.)
- Note incomplete waves (in progress)
4. **Validate wave relationships**
- Wave 3 is typically the strongest (not shortest)
- Wave 4 should not overlap Wave 1 (in impulses)
- Wave 2 typically retraces 50-61.8% of Wave 1
- Wave 4 typically retraces 38.2-50% of Wave 3
- Wave 5 often relates to Wave 1 (equality or 61.8%)
5. **Apply Fibonacci projections**
- Wave 3 target: 1.618 x Wave 1
- Wave 5 target: 0.618 x (Wave 1-3 length) + Wave 4
- A-B-C corrections: C often = 1.618 x A
- Extended waves: Can reach 2.618 x previous wave
6. **Determine current position**
- Which wave is forming?
- What's the likely next wave?
- What are the projected targets?
- What invalidation level applies?
7. **Generate findings**
- Current wave count (primary and alternate)
- Wave position in the cycle
- Projected targets for completion
- Invalidation levels
- Trading implications

## Key Principles
- **Wave 3 of 3** - Most powerful move, never the shortest
- **Alternation** - Wave 2 and 4 alternate in form/sharpness
- **Channeling** - Impulse waves often channel
- **Rule of three** - Impulses have 5 waves, corrections have 3
- **Fibonacci relationships** - Waves relate through fib ratios
- **Invalidation** - If wave rules broken, count is wrong

## Fibonacci Relationships

## Key Rules
1. **Wave 2 cannot retrace more than 100% of Wave 1**
2. **Wave 3 cannot be the shortest wave** (usually longest)
3. **Wave 4 cannot enter Wave 1 price territory** (in cash markets)
4. **Wave 1, 3, 5 - two must be equal in length** (or 0.618 ratio)
## Confidence Guidelines
- **90-100%**: Clear wave count + fib confluence + pattern completion
- **70-89%**: Reasonable wave count with most rules satisfied
- **50-69%**: Wave count possible but alternative exists
- **30-49%**: Unclear structure, multiple valid counts
- **0-29%**: Choppy price, no identifiable wave structure
