# Implementation Summary - v0.2.0
## Overview
Successfully implemented **5 new MCP tools** bringing the total from **8 to 13 tools**, focused on project bootstrapping, configuration generation, and enhanced task management.
## New Tools Implemented
### 1. `list_tasks_verbose` ✅
**Purpose:** Execute `devpipe list --verbose` to show real execution statistics
**What it does:**
- Calls devpipe directly instead of parsing TOML
- Shows average execution times
- Displays task statistics from actual runs
- Complements existing `list_tasks` (which parses config)
**Usage:**
```json
{
"config": "./config.toml"
}
```
### 2. `analyze_project` ✅
**Purpose:** Auto-detect technologies and suggest missing tasks
**What it does:**
- Scans project directory for technology indicators
- Detects: Go, Python, Node.js, TypeScript, Rust, Docker
- Suggests appropriate tasks for each technology
- Returns structured recommendations
**Usage:**
```json
{
"projectPath": "/path/to/project"
}
```
**Example Output:**
```json
{
"detectedTechnologies": ["Go", "Docker"],
"suggestedTasks": [
{"technology": "Go", "taskType": "check-format", "reason": "go fmt for formatting"},
{"technology": "Go", "taskType": "check-lint", "reason": "golangci-lint for linting"}
]
}
```
### 3. `generate_task` ✅
**Purpose:** Generate ready-to-use task configurations from templates
**What it does:**
- Provides templates for common technologies
- Generates proper TOML configuration
- Includes best practices (auto-fix, metrics, etc.)
- Supports multiple task types per technology
**Supported Templates:**
- **Go**: check-format, check-lint, check-static, test-unit, build
- **Python**: check-format, check-lint, check-types, test-unit
- **Node.js**: check-lint, test-unit, build
- **TypeScript**: check-types
**Usage:**
```json
{
"technology": "Go",
"taskType": "check-lint",
"taskId": "golangci-lint"
}
```
**Output:**
```toml
[tasks.golangci-lint]
name = "Golang CI Lint"
desc = "Runs comprehensive linting on Go code"
type = "check"
command = "golangci-lint run"
fixType = "auto"
fixCommand = "golangci-lint run --fix"
```
### 4. `create_config` ✅
**Purpose:** Create complete config.toml from scratch
**What it does:**
- Generates full config.toml with defaults section
- Auto-detects technologies using `analyze_project`
- Organizes tasks by phase (validate, test, build)
- Creates phase headers
- Generates all suggested tasks
- Ready to save and use
**Usage:**
```json
{
"projectPath": "/path/to/project",
"includeDefaults": true,
"autoDetect": true
}
```
**Output:** Complete config.toml with:
- `[defaults]` section with outputRoot, fastThreshold, git settings
- `[task_defaults]` section
- Phase headers (validate, test, build)
- Auto-generated tasks for detected technologies
### 5. `generate_ci_config` ✅
**Purpose:** Generate CI/CD configuration files
**What it does:**
- Generates GitHub Actions or GitLab CI configuration
- Installs devpipe in CI environment
- Runs pipeline with appropriate flags
- Uploads artifacts and test results
**Supported Platforms:**
- GitHub Actions
- GitLab CI
**Usage:**
```json
{
"config": "./config.toml",
"platform": "github"
}
```
