# Simplenote MCP Server Roadmap
This document outlines the strategic direction and planned enhancements for the Simplenote MCP Server project.
## Q2 2025 (Near-term priorities)
### 1. Tag Management System
- **Implementation**: Add new tools `add_tags`, `remove_tags`, and `replace_tags`
- **Benefits**: Addresses a key item from the Future Enhancements list, enabling more flexible note organization

### 2. Advanced Search Capabilities
- **Implementation**: Enhance the existing search with boolean operators (AND, OR, NOT)

- **Benefits**: Dramatically improves Claude's ability to find relevant information
