## The User Experience Problem
### What Actually Happens (User Perspective):
1. **User calls `create_debug_session`** → Success ✓
2. **User calls `set_breakpoint` multiple times** → All return success ✓
- Even for non-existent files
- Even for invalid line numbers
- No indication anything is wrong
3. **User calls `start_debugging`** → FAILURE with cryptic error:

### The Timing Reality
debugpy DOES provide helpful messages like "Breakpoint in file that does not exist." BUT:

- The user never sees these helpful messages
- Instead, they get a cryptic directory error
## Why The Fix Doesn't Help
The implemented fix tries to capture debugpy's messages, but:

- debugpy isn't running yet

- Fix shows nothing useful
2. **When `start_debugging` is called**:
- debugpy validates and provides messages
- But if any file doesn't exist, the session crashes
