# DAP Proxy Worker Migration - Complete
## Summary
Successfully completed the migration of DAP Proxy Worker to use the Adapter Policy pattern, eliminating all language-specific hardcoding.
## What Was Done
### Phase 1: Completed Refactoring
- Added `getInitializationBehavior()` method to AdapterPolicy interface
- Implemented the method in all policies:
- **JsDebugAdapterPolicy**: Returns all flags as `true` (needs all special behaviors)
- **PythonAdapterPolicy**: Returns empty object (no special behaviors needed)
- **MockAdapterPolicy**: Returns empty object (no special behaviors needed)
- **DefaultAdapterPolicy**: Returns empty object (no special behaviors needed)
- Replaced 5 hardcoded `js-debug` checks with policy method calls:
1. Config done deferral check
2. Runtime executable addition
3. Initialize response tracking
4. Initial stop after launch (2 instances)
### Phase 2: Build and Deploy
- Built the shared package with new interface method
- Updated all imports to use the refactored version
- All 326 core tests pass successfully
### Phase 3: Production Deployment
- Deleted old `dap-proxy-worker.ts` (326 lines with 0% coverage)
- Renamed `dap-proxy-worker-refactored.ts` to `dap-proxy-worker.ts`
- Updated imports in `dap-proxy.ts` and `dap-proxy-core.ts`
- Built entire project successfully
