## Motivation

Aligning it will improve developer onboarding, reduce cognitive load when switching between MCP server projects, enhance maintainability, and ensure adherence to project standards (.clinerules). Upgrading to MCP SDK v1.8 allows leveraging potential new features, bug fixes, and performance improvements.
