# Bitbucket MCP Server - Project Summary ## Project Status: ✅ COMPLETE The Bitbucket MCP Server has been successfully implemented with all planned features. ## What Was Built ### 1. Bitbucket REST API Client (`packages/bitbucket-api`) A complete, type-safe TypeScript client for Bitbucket Cloud REST API 2.0. **Features:** - HTTP client with automatic error handling and retry logic - Basic authentication with app passwords - Full TypeScript type definitions for all API resources - Modular design with separate resource modules - Pagination support - Comprehensive error handling **Resources Implemented:** - Pull Requests (list, get, commits, diff, approve, merge, etc.) - Comments (list, get, create, update, delete) - Tasks (list, get, create, update) - Branches (list, get, create, delete) **Files Created:** 23 TypeScript files - Client infrastructure: `client.ts`, `auth.ts` - Type definitions: 5 files in `types/` - Resource modules: 4 files in `resources/` - Utilities: `errors.ts`, `pagination.ts` ### 2. MCP Server (`packages/bitbucket-mcp-server`) A Model Context Protocol server that exposes Bitbucket functionality to LLM applications. **Features:** - 16 MCP tools for interacting with Bitbucket - Environment-based configuration - Full error handling and validation - Stdio transport for Claude Desktop integration - Natural language interface for Bitbucket operations **Tools Implemented:** **Pull Requests (4 tools):** - `bitbucket_list_pull_requests` - List PRs with filtering - `bitbucket_get_pull_request` - Get detailed PR info - `bitbucket_get_pr_commits` - List commits in a PR - `bitbucket_get_pr_diff` - Get PR diff **Comments (4 tools):** - `bitbucket_list_pr_comments` - List all comments - `bitbucket_get_comment` - Get specific comment - `bitbucket_create_comment` - Create new comment - `bitbucket_delete_comment` - Delete a comment **Tasks (4 tools):** - `bitbucket_list_pr_tasks` - List all tasks - `bitbucket_get_task` - Get specific task - `bitbucket_create_task` - Create new task - `bitbucket_update_task` - Update task state **Branches (3 tools):** - `bitbucket_list_branches` - List repository branches - `bitbucket_get_branch` - Get branch details - `bitbucket_create_branch` - Create new branch **Files Created:** 8 TypeScript files - Server core: `index.ts`, `server.ts`, `config.ts` - Tool handlers: 4 files in `tools/` ### 3.
