# MCP Server Smart Memory Gates Integration

## How It Works
1. **Import Integration**: smart_memory_gates.js is loaded into enhanced_architecture_server_context.js
2. **Gate Activation**: When updateUserPreferences is called, GATE63 and GATE66 automatically trigger
3. **Smart Filtering**: System checks for conflicts using keyword filtering and domain checking
4. **Conflict Prevention**: If conflicts detected, user gets warning instead of overwriting
## Next Steps
To fully activate smart memory gates:
1. Restart the MCP server
2. Smart memory gates will automatically integrate with preference updates
3. System will prevent memory loss issues like the English correction example
## Testing
Try updating a preference that already exists - the system should now detect the conflict and warn instead of silently overwriting.
