# Code of Conduct
## Our Pledge
We as members, contributors, and leaders pledge to make participation in our community a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of age, body size, visible or invisible disability, ethnicity, sex characteristics, gender identity and expression, level of experience, education, socio-economic status, nationality, personal appearance, race, caste, color, religion, or sexual identity and orientation.
We pledge to act and interact in ways that contribute to an open, welcoming, diverse, inclusive, and healthy community.
## Our Standards
### Positive Behaviors
Examples of behavior that contributes to a positive environment:
- **Be welcoming** - Use inclusive language and welcome newcomers warmly
- **Be respectful** - Respect differing viewpoints and experiences
- **Be constructive** - Provide helpful feedback; focus on what's best for the community
- **Be empathetic** - Show understanding toward others' perspectives
- **Be gracious** - Accept constructive criticism gracefully
- **Learn openly** - Ask questions without fear; there are no "stupid" questions here
### Unacceptable Behaviors
Examples of unacceptable behavior:
- Trolling, insulting/derogatory comments, and personal or political attacks
- Public or private harassment
- Publishing others' private information without explicit permission
- Sexual language, imagery, or unwelcome attention
- Other conduct which could reasonably be considered inappropriate in a professional setting
## Learning Environment
This project is designed for **teaching and learning**. We especially encourage:
- **Beginners** - Ask questions! We all started somewhere
- **Educators** - Use this project in your courses; let us know how it goes
- **Students** - Fork, experiment, break things, learn from mistakes
- **Professionals** - Share your expertise; mentor others
### Teaching-Friendly Guidelines
1. **Explain your changes** - Help others learn from your contributions
2. **Be patient with questions** - Remember when you were learning
3. **Provide context** - Link to docs, tutorials, or explanations when helpful
4. **Celebrate learning** - Acknowledge when someone grasps a new concept
## Enforcement Responsibilities
Project maintainers are responsible for clarifying and enforcing our standards of acceptable behavior and will take appropriate and fair corrective action in response to any behavior that they deem inappropriate, threatening, offensive, or harmful.
## Scope
This Code of Conduct applies within all community spaces, including:
- GitHub issues, pull requests, and discussions
- Social media interactions related to this project
- Public events where you represent this project

All complaints will be reviewed and investigated promptly and fairly. All maintainers are obligated to respect the privacy and security of the reporter of any incident.
## Enforcement Guidelines
### 1. Correction
**Community Impact:** Minor inappropriate behavior.
**Consequence:** A private, written warning providing clarity around the nature of the violation and an explanation of why the behavior was inappropriate.
### 2. Warning
**Community Impact:** A violation through a single incident or series of actions.
**Consequence:** A warning with consequences for continued behavior. No interaction with the people involved for a specified period.
### 3. Temporary Ban
**Community Impact:** A serious violation of community standards.
**Consequence:** A temporary ban from any sort of interaction or public communication with the community.
### 4. Permanent Ban
**Community Impact:** Demonstrating a pattern of violation of community standards.
**Consequence:** A permanent ban from any sort of public interaction within the community.
