# CGC Bundle System - Implementation Summary
## ๐ What We Built
A complete **pre-indexed graph bundle system** for CodeGraphContext that enables:
- Creating portable `.cgc` bundle files from indexed repositories
- Loading bundles instantly without re-indexing
- Distributing pre-analyzed code knowledge
- Automated weekly releases of famous repositories
## ๐ Files Created/Modified
### Core Implementation
1. **`src/codegraphcontext/core/cgc_bundle.py`** (NEW)
- `CGCBundle` class with export/import functionality
- Handles bundle creation, validation, and loading
- Supports batch processing for large graphs
- ~700 lines of production-ready code
2. **`src/codegraphcontext/cli/main.py`** (MODIFIED)
- Added `bundle` command group with 3 subcommands:
- `cgc bundle export` - Export graph to .cgc file
- `cgc bundle import` - Import .cgc file to database
- `cgc bundle load` - Load bundle (with future registry support)
- Added shortcuts: `cgc export` and `cgc load`
- ~170 lines added
### Automation & CI/CD
3. **`.github/workflows/index-famous-repos.yml`** (NEW)
- Automated weekly indexing of famous repositories
- Matrix strategy for parallel processing
- Creates GitHub Releases with bundles
- Supports: numpy, pandas, fastapi, requests, flask
- ~230 lines
4. **`scripts/create-bundle.sh`** (NEW)
- Helper script for manual bundle creation
- Clones, indexes, and exports any GitHub repo
- Includes metadata extraction and error handling

## ๐ How It Works
### Bundle Format
A `.cgc` file is a ZIP archive containing:

3. Create schema (constraints/indexes)
4. Import nodes in batches
5. Map old IDs to new IDs
6. Import relationships using ID mapping

### GitHub Actions Workflow
**Trigger:** Weekly (Sunday 00:00 UTC) or manual
**Process:**
1. Checkout CodeGraphContext
2. Install dependencies
3. Clone target repository (numpy, pandas, etc.)
4. Index repository
5. Export to .cgc bundle
6. Generate bundle info markdown
7. Upload as artifact
8. Create GitHub Release with all bundles
**Release Format:**
- Tag: `bundles-YYYYMMDD`
- Name: `Pre-indexed Bundles - YYYYMMDD`
- Assets: `<repo>-<version>-<commit>.cgc` files
